Warby Parker Spring 2015 Collection

Warby Parker is a company I've admired for a couple of years now. They not only design beautiful classic glasses in standout styles, but they do good. For every pair of glasses purchased, a pair of glasses is provided to someone who could not have otherwise afforded eye care.

Needless to say I was delighted to oblige when they asked me to help spread the word about their new Spring collection. Inspired by the sea and the natural freshness of a seaside in the spring, the styles are simply stunning. They branched out from the cookie cutter (though, still beautiful) tortoise that reigns the trendy glasses world right now and introduced materials that look like sea glass, varying ocean blues and salt worn drift wood.

Another thing I love about Warby Parker is that they offer a free 5 day try on. I needed to see these frames in person to better describe them (and cause I needed to try them on obviously.) They're even better in person than I'd anticipated.

I chose frames from their new collection and one pair of their Marzipone Tortoise sunglasses cause I just had to try those on my face they were too fun.

Admittedly I had low expectations for these clear frames. I've never been a fan of rounder glasses and especially not clear ones but once I tried them on, I realized I'd been wrong. Only Warby Parker can make me love a pair of frames that combine two things I dislike. Well done, Warby, I applaud your work.

These are the shape of glasses I generally buy for myself. Larger and very rectangular. I've literally bought mens frames before to ensure the right amount of large boxiness. However, I've neer tried on blue frames. Though I'm not generally one to branch out in color (especially on my face) these I would consider for myself.

These frames feature my go-to tortoise, with my go-to rectangle, but with the curve of a more vintage dropped style. I felt a little more intelligent in these glasses. They might be the pair for you when you need to believe you're smarter than you are. ;)

Big thanks to Warby Parker for including me in their Spring launch. I'm always happy to help out a company I believe in.
